Chemical Technology Division

Objectives :

Chemical Technology Division is one of the major division in ATIRA.  The division has good infrastructure facilities like unit mill, laboratories,  test equipments like as ATLAS Weather-o-meter, Dispensing unit, DATA Colour / ACS Spectrophotometer for colour measurement, Kawabata set of instruments for objective evaluation of handle value of fabric.

Type of Services Provided :

Technical investigation / trouble shooting of defective fabric samples

Consultancy for increasing productivity,  machine efficiency, reducing damages, cost reduction,  value loss, machinery,  maintenance auditing, department survey etc.

Short term training programme for performance Improvements for supervisor, Lab Chemists / Q.A. Managers etc.

Kawabata Testing for objective evaluation of handle Value of fabric, heat conductivity of fabric.

Calibration of Light Fastness Tester.

*

Projects : R&D projects sponsored by MOT as well as Govt. undertaking units (e.g. GACL)
